Opera Mini/Mobile Updated with Auto-Suggest Feature

Who doesn’t love Opera on their mobile? The Norwegian company has just released new versions of their famed browsers, Opera Mini 6.1 and Opera Mobile 11.1, with a new auto-suggest feature for the search box.
Faster searching!
Faster searching!

With the help of Google and Yandex, the built-in search field now shows up suggestions as you type and even remembers your queries and adapts to your surfing habits. This is a really big step forward, as it will undoubtedly shave off precious seconds when you need to search for something quickly.

The update will be available on both the browsers across all platforms like Symbian, Android, iOS and MeeGo devices. Opera Mini is designed mostly for slow connections or even lower end phones that only support Java. The difference between the two browsers is that when you use Mini, the webpage is actually compressed to about 90 per cent on Opera’s servers and then sent to your phone. This means, pages appear faster with lower data usage. The Mobile version on the other hand gives you a full desktop like viewing experience complete with Flash video support.
