The French search giant, apparently, has been increasingly feeling the pinch of Google’s ‘dominating’ ways. This was followed by a complaint from Microsoft, 1PlusV, and what followed was an investigation by the European Commission. This investigation is in addition to the already existing investigation that the U.S. Federal Trade Commission is carrying out. For the French search engine, the final blow came when Google, allegedly barred it from developing vertical search engines.
