Creating applications for a smartphone OS seems to be the new strategy leading Indian newspapers are following. Latest to join the bandwagon is Dinamalar, which unveiled an application for iPhone and iPod Touch so that users can access the news while on the move.
The app gives readers access to news from around the world, India and Tamil Nadu. Also the app has social network integration, which allows users to share news and updates on Facebook and Twitter.Talking about this new app, Adimoolam Lakshmipathy, Executive Editor, New Media, Dinamalar, said, "People are always on the move today and moving into the mobile space was a natural progression.
